Ever have those weeks where you just can’t get everything done? We got back from Utah on Sunday and hit the ground running. Since my full time job is the running of our household I have been trying to get caught up from being away. I will admit that I wasn’t completely current when we left. Just keepin’ it real folks. As a result I have not been able to produce a video this Tuesday. Sigh…
In an effort not to leave you empty handed below are a few pics from our trip I thought you might like.
For the past six years we have gone to Alta, Utah on a family ski trip. It is one of our favorite places on earth. It draws us back every year.
Avery is eleven and this year to my
devastation delight she is now skiing more with her uncle and dad. Apparently, mom only likes the "boring runs".
Accepting the fact that your daughter has surpassed your skill level is a humbling thing.
Well … that maybe an exaggeration. I don't really want to go straight down the mountain. Wider turns are more enjoyable. We are probably on the same level however I am not as brave as she has become. Yeah, that's it!
The restaurant behind us in this pic has the best hot chocolate. Avery and I like to take our snack size candy and crumble it on top. Butterfinger for Avery and Peppermint Patty for me, make our hot chocolate experience sublime.
Thanks for your understanding and I should be back on track next week. Love
