Can you believe it is already September? Holy Cow - it seems like summer break just started. To be honest I was glad to see this summer end. It seemed like a really hard summer. Avery summed it up best by labeling it as a “different” summer. I thought that was the perfect description of it. It was different.
There were things that we usually do every summer that we didn’t do and there were some new things we added. One thing we spent alot of time doing was attending dog shows. Yes, my child loves dogs and animals. If you know me well then you will be shocked by this. Animals aren't really my cup of tea. It seems as though, God gives us children that challenge us to new experiences which take us into new place, literally. As a matter of fact, just last Wednesday, I found myself crouched behind the bushes watching Avery and Sophie at an agility class (I was asked to leave because I was distracting the dog with my presence, or so I was told). What has happened to me? People, I have a chicken coup in my backyard. I digress.
So long summer, it was fun by I am ready for the next season and I hope it will be alittle more ... routine.
~ I know it has been a while since my last post. These kinds of projects I tend to pick up and put down as time allows. Thanks for the encouragement Lisa to start again. I hope to post something at least once a week until the end of the year. I am learning more and more that in life you have to go with the flow ~
