One of my favorite things to do on Mondays is to buy a bouquet of marked down flowers at the grocery store. I got these at Krogers for $12.50 which was half off the regular $25 price.
First thing to do is to take them out of the plastic, trim the ends and put them in a vase with some fresh clean water. They need to drink this up for about an hour.
Next, I pulled out my low square vase, made a grid pattern using tape and started arranging my flowers. I love the purple, yellow and orange combination. Here is the result.
Not too shabby for $12.50!! They usually last 3 or 4 days (sometimes a week). Next time you are at the grocery check out the marked down flowers. You can get some amazing deals.
